How To Train Your Subconscious For Success.

Every skill requires a form of coaching and intensive training in order for it to become any level of expertise. Whether you're an artist, business man/woman, or teacher: concrete habits establish efficiency in any part of your life. Your mind, especially the subconscious, operates the same way. Learn along as I share useful techniques to reshape your mindset the way you want it to be.

The human brain is a topic of discussion that has multiple layers, many of which scientists are still dissecting to understand. There is no clear cut answer of how our mind has the power capacity it does and where this power comes from, that would be for you to decide. One thing for sure is that it can be controlled and properly guided to a given desire when using the correct techniques.

Establish your definition of success.

Everyone has an individual understanding of what a happy life looks like to them. Depending on your values will really determine what kind of outcome that will be. Some priortize lavish, extravengant living such as a large home, luxury cars, or high end clothing. While others may prefer a more simplistic, humble living such as being surrounded by nature, a loving family and friends, or having the basic essentials such as safety. Reflect on your current moral principles to assist in helping you define your own understanding of prosperity.

Repetition, Repetition, Repetition.

I'm pretty sure you've heard of the statement before, "It takes 2 weeks to establish a new habit". That has some truth in it, however, finalizing a new behavior varies heavily on the individual and their determination level. Concreting anything foreign can take days, weeks, months, or even years! Nothing is impossible as long as you're willing to put in the work. As a dancer, in order for myself to set in stone parts of choreography, I have to be able to complete it a number of times consecutively to install it into memory. Routines are settled through the same manner: repetition!

Set Up Physical Reminders of Your Goals.

A tactic that so many businesses and corporations use to draw consumers is by using a subconscious trick called, "Subliminal Messaging". If you've never heard about it before, it's a fascinating tool to influence you without you even realizing it by displaying physical reminders repeatedly throughout your day. Look at how advertising utilizes television commercials, billboards, audio broadcasts, or even-word-of-mouth promotions. They engage with different physical sensations to leave an imprint or subtle memory to go back to their product or service when triggered by a specific need. If companies are able to use your own mind for their benefit, you should do the same for yourself! Display pictures, quotes, or play music around your home that you will encounter every day that will inspire you towards that vision. Listen to content in podcasts or videos that relates to the goal you are aiming to achieve. Drown your senses to bring undivided attention to that focus. Load Your Mind With Inspiration to Keep You Motivated.

Similar to the previous pointer, immerse yourself in environments or plug into resources that provide motivation to keep you engaged on your focus. Just as quickly as some people can start a journey towards a certain goal, if they aren't consistent with their progress, it will cause delays or potentially allow disinterest to completion. Keep yourself accountable by establishing habits and a specific mindset to not give up. You don't want the time invested to be quickly thrown away due to a short period of distractions. If you want something badly enough, self reliability is key to obtaining it.

Stray Away From Things Or People That Distract You From Your Success.

Sometimes sacrificing time away from activities or loved ones that you would normally invest in is required to achieve your objectives. It doesn't necessarily mean you won't be interacting with these aspects of your life forever, but if it's interrupting your progress to that vision, limiting your time away is the best option. Measure out your value systems carefully if this is what would best suit your situation. Just always remember: Time is a luxury and the only asset you cannot get more of. Once it's gone, it can never come back.

To come to a conclusion, in order to bring any long term results for successful outcomes, it requires a burning desire to keep you motivated throughout the process. You can start all of these habits, but if you give up when the mental challenges arrive, you won't be able to excel.
